Rich is a sixth generation Hillsborough County resident— a member of a family who has farmed and raised cattle in the area since 1848. Rich has a diverse general practice. He acts as a general business attorney for a number of companies in the area and assists them with their day- to-day legal needs. Additionally, Rich is a commercial litigation attorney, with several multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements and experience in many disciplines, including real estate and title litigation, business litigation, employment litigation, personal injury defense, estate litigation, and intellectual property/trade secret litigation. Finally, Rich has substantial experience in real estate law and is a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company.
Prior to forming Petitt PLLC, Rich was a Shareholder at Bricklemyer Smolker & Bolves, PA., and a partner at Foley & Lardner LLP.
